What We Do

The Parks and Recreation Committee provide aide in implementing the goals, objectives, and policies of the City as adopted by the City Council as related to City Parks and Recreational Activities. The Elkins Parks and Recreation Committee meets at least once a quarter, and all meetings are open to the public.

Our Mission is to build partnerships between city departments and interested citizens to enhance the quality of life in Elkins by providing safe, well-maintained parks and providing opportunities to strengthen community engagement through a variety of recreational opportunities, enrichment programs, and services for all ages and abilities.
