A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM THE FIRE DEPARTMENT FUND TO MAKE AN ADDITIONAL PAYMENT ON THE 2020 TANKER FIRE TRUCK IN THE CITY OF ELKINS, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the City of Elkins Fire Department desires to make an additional payment in the amount of $100,000.00 on the 2020 tanker fire truck in an effort to pay the vehicle off sooner than originally expected which will allow the City of Elkins and the Elkins Fire Department to save money; and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Council has been advised that the Fire Department has the funds required to make the payment and hereby approves the expenditure in the amount of $100,000 for an additional payment to be made on the 2020 tanker fire truck for the Fire Department.
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELKINS, ARKANSAS:
That the amount of $100,000.00, One Hundred Thousand Dollars and 00/100 be appropriated from available funds of the Elkins Fire Department for the additional payment on the 2020 tanker fire truck.
