Call meeting to order at 7pm by Chairman Cope
Reading/approval of minutes June 8, 2023
Chairman Cope asked for a motion to approve or amend the Minutes of the June 2023 meeting. Committee member moved to approve the Minutes as read. Second by Committee member minutes approved as read.
Superintendents Report- Stacy Plumlee-
18 work orders completed
13 meters replaced
50 shutoffs for this month (2 abandoned houses).
The city has put in both sewer and water taps for Dollar General. Hiring at least two new employees between the street and water department.
Old Business
Update on Sewer Project- We have tied into the Fayetteville manhole. From there a 45-degree and two 90-degree angles. There is 200 feet of straight pipe. Equipment was taken to where the pump station will be located.
New Business:
Committee Member- None as of now; Post the opening on the city website.
Appointing Secretary- None as of now
There being no further business, Chairman Cope adjourned the meeting at 7:21 pm.
