    1. December 10, 2020 Elkins Water & Sewer Meeting
    A regular meeting of the Elkins Water & Sewer committee was called to order by Chairman Brian Gray on Thursday December 10th, 2020 at the Elkins Administration Building.
    Present: Brian Gray, Member Darrel Glenn, Member Mike Abbiatti & Water & Sewer Superintendent Duane Foster Matt Francis from the planning committee
    Absent: Member Keith Woods, Member Jim Cope

    2. Chairman Brian Gray had each of the committee members read the minutes independently. The minutes read were from the regular meeting held November 12th, 2020.
    Motion was made by Mike to accept the minutes, 2nd by Brian. All were in favor motion carried.

    3. Report

    Duane Foster updated committee on what has been going on. He updated committee on the blowout @Justus new shop. The tapping saddle blew out and they had around 16+ customers off while they tried to isolate & repair. Duane said they ended up having to take it all apart to fix the issue. General discussion followed. Duane said after talking with Robert Lancaster with Fayetteville, they decided to cut in a tee to correct the issue. The plan is to do that next Sunday as they are waiting for parts to come in. Duane state we should be able to reuse valve & bolt our valve to repair. He is hoping to get a refund on the faulty part. General discussion followed.
    Duane discussed shut-offs with committee and the number of people on the list. Mr. Abbiatti asked about working with customers who are having a health issue or ways we would work with customers. General discussion followed.

    4. General Discussion

    Special Election Discussion
    Planning committee is working on a master plan for the City of Elkins.
    The Bond that is being worked on will generate around $11 million. First thing being looked at will be installing the new pump station & replace the line going towards Fayetteville. Once that is all good, they will head down towards the High School per Duane.
    Duane discussed getting a letter from the Health Department and that it is the approval process. The new sewer line will be incased & go over the water line. General discussion followed.
    Motion to adjourn made by Mike, 2nd by Brian. All were in favor. Motion carried.
