CITY OF ELKINS, WASHINGTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF ELKINS, ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO AN AMBULANCE SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH WASHINGTON COUNTY REGIONAL AMBULANCE AUTHORITY FOR AMBULANCE SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF ELKINS
WHEREAS, following a request for proposals issued by Washington County on behalf of Washington County and the Cities of Elkins, Elm Springs, Farmington, Fayetteville, Goshen, Greenland, Elkins, Lincoln, Prairie Grove, Tontitown, West Fork, and Winslow for ambulance services, and the selection thereby of Washington Regional Ambulance Authority, the City of Elkins, Arkansas, has received an Ambulance Service Agreement with Washington Regional Ambulance Authority to provide ambulance services to the residents of Elkins; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Elkins, upon receipt of advice and consultation from the City Attorney, has reviewed the Ambulance Service Agreement and determined that is in the best interest of the citizens of Elkins to authorize the execution of the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, in connection with the receipt of the Ambulance Service Agreement with Washington Regional Ambulance of Elkins, Arkansas, hereby authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk–Treasurer to execute the agreement attached hereto as Exhibit “A“, and all other measures to execute any and all other documents necessary in connection therewith.
