AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TO THE CITY OF ELKINS, ARKANSAS, A PARCEL OF LAND IDENTIFIED IN “ORDER OF ANNEXATION”, ENTERED APRIL 17, 2006, BY HONORABLE JERRY HUNTON IN CASE NO. CC 2006-4 IN THE COUNTY COURT OF WASHINGTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, S & L Development, Inc. is the owner of real property which lies adjacent to the City of Elkins, Arkansas, and is better described in Exhibit “A” attached hereto.
WHEREAS, S & L Development, Inc. prosecuted an action before the County Court of Washington County, Arkansas, securing a Order of Annexation on April17, 2006.
WHEREAS, S & L Development, Inc. has requested that the real property described in Exhibit “A” be annexed to the City of Elkins, Arkansas.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ELKINS, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the real property described in Exhibit “A” hereto is situate in Washington County, Arkansas, the same is hereby annexed into the City of Elkins, Arkansas.
SECTION 2: It is hereby determined that the annexed parcel of real property is contiguous and adjacent to the other lands in Elkins, Arkansas, which are located in Ward 2 therefore the annexed parcel is determined and declared to be in Ward 2 of the City of Elkins.
SECTION 3: The official Zoning Districts map of the City of Elkins, Arkansas, is hereby amended to show the annexation to the City of the above described parcel of real property as part of Ward 2 and such property is hereby zoned R -1.

OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER (NEV.) OF SAID SECTION THIRTY-FIVE(35); THENCE LEAVING THE CENTERLINE OF SAID DITCH, EAST 1139.56 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING, CONTAINING 8.37 ACRES.
