A RESOLUTION TO APPOINT IMPACT FEE ADMINISTRATOR.
WHEREAS, Ordinance 04-02-2009A provides for local impact fees which funds must be held. accounted for and administered in specific ways.
WHEREAS, until recently the impact fees collected pursuant to said ordinance have been very modest and sporadic.
WHEREAS, development is beginning to accelerate and an Impact Fee Administrator needs to be appointed to oversee assessment, collection and handling of these funds.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ELKINS, ARKANSAS, That:
Section 1: That Michelle Plumlee, Water Clerk/Water and Sewer Office Manager, should be and hereby is appointed Impact Fee Administrator pursuant to Section 10.30.25(a) of Ordinance 04-02-2009 A.
Section 2: This appointment is made in recognition of the fact that Michelle Plumlee holds the positions in the Elkins Water and Sewer Department of Water Clerk and Office Manager. Should Michelle Plumlee no longer be associated with the Elkins Water and Sewer Department then this appointment shall lapse and the provisions of Section 10.30.25(a) shall control regarding the responsibilities of the Impact Fee Administrator. PASSED AND APPROVED this 20th day of December, 2012.
